Vulcan is built for artists holding unreleased work. Here is exactly how uploads are handled — in plain language.
Every upload goes into a locker keyed to your account. There is no public feed, no shareable link, and no browse-other-artists view. Nobody else can list or stream your files.
Access rules live on the server with row-level security. Even a request crafted by hand can only ever return rows owned by the signed-in account — hiding a button is not our security model.
Audio is never served from a public URL. Playback uses short-lived signed links generated for your session that stop working after they expire.
Your files are stored as you uploaded them. Vulcan does not transcode, fingerprint, license, train on, or share your audio with third parties.
Wipe your entire library from the account panel at any time. Tracks, playlists, cover art, and the underlying files are removed from storage — not flagged as hidden.
Being straight with you: files sit on managed cloud infrastructure, so operators with infrastructure access could technically reach raw storage. No Vulcan feature exposes your audio to other users, and we do not listen to, index, or distribute it. If you are protecting something you cannot risk at all, keep it offline.
